Maca root capsules are derived from the Lepidium meyenii roots, grown in the high Andes of Peru. Traditionally used in Peruvian culture, Maca is a nutrient-rich root vegetable that has been consumed for centuries. Maca root capsules undergo Gelatinisation, a special process to remove the starch, which may support optimal nutrient absorption.
