Ghee has been revered in Ayurvedic Medicine for over 3000 years. It is known as liquid gold which is found to hold numerous medicinal properties. Due to the commercialisation of Ghee, it has become very difficult to find purity. A ghee that is ethically made from yoghurt instead of cream, hand-churned and is from A2 Gir (Indigenous Breed) Cows.
Typically prepared by simmering butter, which is churned from cultured curd (traditionally made yoghurt), skimming all milk solids from the surface, then pouring and retaining the clear liquid Vedic ghee while discarding the solid residue that has settled to the bottom. Normal Ghee in the market is only made from butter which is made from cream however this Ghee is made from yoghurt (3000-year-old method).

The Gir cattle are indigenous to the Gir hills and forests of Kathiawar, they are known to produce one of most healthiest A2 milk due to their pure breed.
