Ghee has been revered in Ayurvedic Medicine for over 3000 years. It is also referred to as "liquid gold" which is known for its remarkable qualities. Due to the commercialisation of Ghee, it has become very difficult to find purity. A ghee that is ethically made from yoghurt instead of cream, hand-churned and is from A2 Gir (Indigenous Breed) Cows.
Typically prepared by simmering butter, which is churned from cultured curd (traditionally made yoghurt), skimming all milk solids from the surface, then pouring and retaining the clear liquid Vedic ghee while discarding the solid residue that has settled to the bottom. Normal Ghee in the market is only made from butter which is made from cream however this Ghee is made from yoghurt (3000-year-old method).
