Henna is not recommended for individuals with scalp conditions like psoriasis, eczema, fungal infections, open wounds, or chemically treated hair.

For Indigo: It is advisable to do a strand test before applying indigo powder to your entire hair and scalp.

Select a one-inch section of your hair and apply the indigo mixture to it to see what colour it may leave on your hair.

After you have used indigo please do not use any bleaching hair products for 6 weeks.

To verify that a herb is authentic it is issued with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) which contains tests (heavy metals/safety/identification) done on every batch of herb manufacturing. E.g Amla COA or Ashwagandha COA. COAs for every herb are available via email request.

Please note shilajit cannot be claimed as organic as it's not cultivated by humans, it's extracted from special shilajit rocks which is only produced by nature. Shilajit can only be tested for heavy metals which we have done in a Eurofins Laboratory (document is available here)

How To Use

For Quality Black Colour Hair - Henna + Indigo Instructions:

Step 1: Take 2 tablespoons of henna powder (adjust quantity based on hair length/thickness).
Mix it with warm water in a non-metallic bowl to form a smooth paste. The consistency should be (slightly thinner than yogurt)—wet but not runny.
Let the henna paste sit overnight (6-8 hours) to allow the dye to release. You’ll notice a brownish layer on top when it’s ready.

Step 2: Right before application, mix 4 Tbsp indigo powder with the henna paste and add a little warm water. Stir until it forms a smooth paste (slightly thinner than yogurt).

Indigo must be used immediately after mixing, as it loses potency if left sitting.

Step 3: Apply the paste evenly to your hair, focusing on grey areas or the sections you want to dye.
Coat all strands thoroughly, working from roots to tips.
Cover your hair with plastic wrap or a shower cap and leave it on for 2 hours min. Then wash with normal water.

Note: Avoid shampoo or oil for 24-48 hours to let the colour settle.

FOR DARK BROWN HAIR:

The two powders need to be mixed with water separately from each other, since they have different release times. Henna should be mixed 2-3 hours in advance, covered and placed in a warm spot. You can mix the indigo in a separate bowl, cover, and let release for 20-30 minutes. Combine the two pastes together and start putting it on! Rinse it off with water after about 2 hours .
